This yoga studio and student living space shares a steeply pitched site with three other buildings to create a welcoming environment for a total of eight student tenants. The name, Dimensional Relief, alludes to the logic of the building design as well as the relief and dimensionality harnessed in one’s inner yogi.
The logic behind this building’s dense design was carving spaces out of the density and adding in other elements, such as windows and furnishing. Providing more than enough
shelving and storage opportunities, this dense structure also provides its users with built-in furniture- or rather, ‘carved-out’ furniture.
