Using recycled materials and self-sustaining energy and water services, this urban
oasis is designed to be a sustainable, eco-friendly retreat located along the Grand
River in Cambridge, Ontario. Site analysis and the climate of the region were carefully considered during the design process. Given the cold climate of Cambridge, design strategies addressing the wetter months were imparative to ensure user comfort.
